Learning goals include conducting an ongoing review of current literature as it pertains to the infuence of tooth structure conservation and outcome. We will discuss current alterations to the traditional treatment philosophy and their impact on dentistry. The lecture presentation concentrates on how to perform endodontics in a predictable, reproducible manner using modern techniques that aim at enhancing the long-term prognosis of the tooth.
Included in this lecture will be a thorough discussion concerning access, headways in rotary le design and metallurgy, instrumentation philosophy, and various obturation options.

Mark Limosani, DMD

Dr Mark Anthony Limosani received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Montreal in 2007. Since then, he completed a one-year multi-disciplinary residency at the Queen Elizabeth Oral Health Center, a McGill University affiliated program. Following one year of private practice and many hours of continuing education, he then followed his dream and attended the specialty program in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University where he also received his Masters Degree in Dental Science. He won the "Robert A. Uchin Endodontic Award" for his presentation during Nova's endodontic alumni day. Following his specialty program, he became an associate at Endodontics Limited in Kendall, under Dr Jose Francisco Barros for three years.
During this time period he also practiced part time in Quebec City as an associate under Dr Marie Gosselin. Dr Limosani is both a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is currently president of the South Florida District Dental Association. He maintains privileges at Nicklaus Children's Hospital where he also taught endodontics at a post-graduate level.
Dr. Limosani has lectured locally and internationally on many topics in endodontics including: dental traumatology, the restoration of endontically treated teeth, restoratively minded endodontics, diagnosis and treatment planning and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) use in endodontics.
His passions aside from endodontics include crossfit, live theater and running. His detail-oriented approach aims at providing high quality care while maintaining a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for his patients.
