Soft tissue recession around Implant in the anterior region often causes aesthetic issues. At such times, the root coverage procedure is needed. However, it isn't easy to recover the soft tissue level by using surgical approach. Especially, the surgical interproximal papilla augmentation is regarded as treatment with a difficulty. As one of the reasons, since the interproximal space is narrow anatomically, lack of blood supply to a part of the peri-Implant papilla after surgery. Therefore, more precise incision, partial thickness flap elevation, and suture are required.
In this presentation, I would like to introduce the cases of the interproximal papilla reconstruction surgery by using free gingival graft technique with microsurgery, which is a surgical procedure using micro instruments under magnification view by microscope. Also, I wish to consider the significance to apply tooth transplantation for soft tissue recession in anterior region.
